About Chazzz
Really — three z's?
Yes, really. While it is not my given name, I have gone by "Chazzz" since the late 1970's, although the spelling varied in the early stages. It started as "Chas" – the natural abbreviation for "Charles", then switched to "Chaz", then quickly to "Chazz" and finally "Chazzz". Yes, I still use all three z's, and yes, people still spell "Chazzz" incorrectly by either omitting one or two z's, or adding any number of z's well beyond three. I'm sure they add z's because they think they're funny and they think I've never ever seen that before. Joke's on them. And no: I'm not that amused (really) — partially because it's my name they're misspelling (either by laziness or mockery), and partially because I'm slightly obsessive-compulsive about spelling in general.
Jack of all trades
we ought to know a little about everything.”
I know a lot of things about a lot of things. I know quite a bit of trivial information about popular culture – including things like movies (who starred in what), and (brace yourself) 80's music. Depending on your opinion, that may be highly cool or a complete waste of mental space. But I know about other subjects too, and I strive to be a life-long learner. Here's a short – but growing – list of things I know something about, things I can do or play, and things I've studied at least a little (in alphabetical order):
